"The flat was well equipped and everything worked. The bedroom was very comfortable (after you had bumped your hear 4 times on lovely beams getting to it). Great location. Good bathroom and shower with adequate towels."

"The host was there to greet us and kindly practiced his English for us. The property is beautifully decorated, very clean, comfortable and light and airy. The beds are comfortable. The property is sideways on to the ramparts of the town and the road in front is quiet; the apartment is at the back of the building. The patio is laid to paving and gravel, as shown in the photo, so not a garden. Nice to have access to an outside space. Gravelines is a quiet town but very interesting with the ramparts and waterways and a Friday market. There is a free local bus service which is useful to explore the town up towards the sea and to go further afield. The host responded to a query we had quite promptly."
