"Location was fantastic if you want peace and quiet and don't need to be close to a village - which suited us. Fantastic for a cycling holiday. Pool was brilliant - good enough to swim a bit. Plenty of room and space for 10 people comfortably. Birdlife was outstanding. Hoopoe and European Rollers nesting on the doorstep. Stunning."

"Absolutely no complaints. Would have been great if it had aircon in the bedrooms. A bit hot at night for us brits. A few more bits of comfy garden furniture by the house would be handy."

"We were travelling by bicycle and safe cycle storage was available. We had pre-booked a table in the hotel restaurant, and had a very good meal. The town itself is very quiet with only one other restaurant that we could see and no grocery shop, only a bakery. No mobile phone coverage in the village at all - a night sky observatory has cut off all signals and tv sketchy via wi-fi. Hotel proprietor very accommodating."
