Maison Orsini B&B is located just outside the historic city of Avignon and offers views over the Papal Palace, Avignon-Villeneuve and St André Fort. The decor is elegant and the historical building, dating from the 14h century, retains some of its original features, such as its monumental fireplace. Guests can enjoy the garden, terrace and outdoor pool. The guest rooms feature elegant decor, some with an open fireplace, chandelier or garden views. The private bathrooms come with complimentary toiletries. Guests also have access to the kitchen if they wish to cook on-site. The historical city centre, 2 km away, has an array of restaurants, bars and grocery shops. You may wish to visit the traditional Provencal market which is open on Thursdays and is just 500 metres from the B&B. The medieval centre of Avignon has many interesting sites, such as the Papal Palace, Avignon Cathedral and the Saint-Bénezet Bridge. These can all be reached by foot in half an hour.

"It is always a great pleasure to stay here . This must be my fourth or fifth visit. The Maison Orsini is a magic place just a short walk from the centre of Villeneuve. it is a very quiet location , ideal for relaxation. Avignon is 5 minutes by bus from the tourist office (Bus 5). 1.40 euro a one way ticket. Breakfast is in a historic dinning room with magnificent views across the Rhone to the Palais des Papes. You will not be disappointed staying in this wonderful small group of cottages and rooms."

"The whole place was very old and charming but with modern appliances and conveniences. Breakfast was very nice with a reasonably good spread. The host was very helpful right from parking the car and explaining all the facilities. The pool also looked inviting but we couldnt use it because of limited time"

"Only stopped for one night and wished we had spent more time there to enjoy the tranquil surrounding and space. Also, wanted to say a big thank you to Folco, who went out of his way to get some really good gluten free bread from my friend who is Coeliac, to enjoy for breakfast. Breakfast was quaint and authentically French, and we enjoyed it in lovely surroundings on the patio. The location of the property is so convenient for a stroll into Villeneuve, or across the river to the old town."

My mum had a disability and her room was perfect in supporting her needs . The restaurant is at another level with exceptional food and service . The breakfast is huge and again beautifully served . "Our stay at Les Passiflores is simply unforgettable. From the very first moment, Jean-Marc and Marc made us feel completely at home. They are truly the kindest hosts, and you can see how much love and care they’ve put into every little detail of their house. And that lavender scent everywhere is magical. The home itself is beautiful and full of charm, perfectly located, and surrounded by the peaceful, enchanting little community Les Huguets (near Roussillon). The garden is a little piece of paradise and perfect for relaxation. Reading a book by the pool with a glass of chilled rosé while listening to the song of cicadas, it's a dream:) Breakfasts were always a lovely start for the day, but the real highlight was the hosts' home-cooked dinners and yummy desserts. Every meal was a perfect and beautifully presented. If we could give more than 10 points, we absolutely would — definitely a 10+ experience. We’re already planning when we can come back."
