"The rural setting. The proximity to the wedding venue, which was the reason for our visit. The fact that we felt welcomed as part of the family, and we particularly enjoyed our interactions with the youngest child. The relaxed atmosphere in the house."
"The pool hadn't been used for a while, but as soon as we said we would like to use it, a robotic pool cleaner was put into action and that improved the cleanliness in the pool immediately."

"Très bon accueil, les propriétaires ( très sympathiques) sont réactifs que se soit avant ou pendant le séjour. Les petits déjeuners constitués de produits faits maison sont très bons et copieux. La chambre familiale est très jolie et les lits confortables. Le gîte est situé en pleine campagne mais reste à proximité de toutes les commodités en voiture. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié le coin repas mis à disposition avec frigo, micro-ondes,vaisselle et de quoi se faire du thé ou du café. Merci à nos hôtes pour ce séjour."

"The house is ready for absolutely everything you might need. We arrived on a cold night & were greeted by Sylvie and a gorgeous warm fire. Location is fantastic to explore some real gems of Dordogne. The house is located in the outskirts of a charming town, walking distance to everything and yet, very quiet. Mark & Sylvie have a list of recommended spots to visit, make sure you see them all! A gorgeous holidays with our 2 dogs, we couldn't have asked for more."

"The property was well located with lots of family friendly activities to do nearby. The shepherds hut had an en-suite with a shower. The owner was extremely friendly and welcoming making sure that we enjoyed our stay. Our children enjoyed the pool which had deep steps into the pool allowing them to touch the bottom comfortably for a while. The depth of the rest of the pool was around 130cm."

"The house is very conveniently located between Strasbourg and Colmar. We visited Alsace before Christmas and were delighted by its fairytale atmosphere. And when we returned home... the magic continued! The accommodation is very authentic, located in a medieval house where elements of the old days have been carefully preserved, but at the same time everything is modern, comfortable, and clean. A small drawback is the slight smell in the toilets (there are two, by the way), but it didn't bother us. And yes, there is a road below the windows, so we closed them in the morning to keep it quiet."
