"Location is very convenient for tram, main tourist sites, shops, pubs and restaurants and for lovely walks along by the Garrone river. The apartment has some old stone walls and wooden beams that add to its cosy character"

"Not a major issue, but apartment has a low ceiling in bathroom and bedroom so tall visitors need to be careful. Also the lighting in the old stone stairwell could be improved at night time"

"This is a beautiful compact apartment in a beautiful old building with huge character and historical interest. It's in a very convenient part of the city with great transport links and easy to walk to major sites, bars and restaurants. Communication was faultless and helpful and we felt well cared for. Instructions were clear and a useful booklet provided with tourist information and recommendations. All utilities are modern and it was spotless. and everything that you could need was provided including handy toiletries, kitchen equipment. Washing machine was super useful as we were traveling about and the little terrace great for drying laundry and sitting for breakfast in the sun."

"We only mention a few things that might affect other travellers. Since the apartment is in the top of the building into the roof space, the height of the ceilings is low in the bedroom and bathroom and related to this is that it is hot when temperatures are high. . However, here is an air conditioning unit in the living room which we didn't try and a really efficient fan as well. When the velux windows are open above the bed the tram and noise from bar across the street can be troublesome."

"Very low ceilings in bedroom and bathroom both over 6ft tall so had to be very careful during the day and exceptionally careful at night. Also it was very hot hard to regulate the temperature as if you opened the windows at night you could not sleep with outside noise."

"Excellent location near centre of Bordeaux and tram stops. Carrefour nearby for groceries and husband particularly liked happy hour on beer at the bars opposite! Comfortable, clean and nicely decorated, if bijou, apartment. Warm in January and a really nice place to rest up after exploring. Very good value for money."

"Not a problem for us but ceiling height is tight in bedroom on one side of bed (we swapped sides as I am 5 2') and in bathroom - as mentioned in other reviews. Bed is quite hard - we liked it, but not everyone might."
