"Pascal was an exceptional host. We were hiking, so we arrived by foot only to find the local restaurant was closed and the nearest was another 5km away for dinner. Pascal offered to make a "simple quick" meal for us. This was served as a 3 couse meal with the highlight being home prepared Confit d Canard which was very good. Such wonderful hosts that both went above and beyond for us. I wish we could have stayed another night. The breakfast was ample, fresh local, and homemade produce that fueled us for or hike. Totally recommend Les Chenes Rouge for value, location, and wonderful hosts."

"The location of this Chambres d'Hote is on a gentle sloping hillside close to the river, with a very large garden and splendid pool. It is a lovely relaxing environment and very quiet at night. Our room was well equipped and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast room and outside terrace are great. Our hosts Pascal and Sylvie were superb as was the breakfast and evening meal. They are very knowledgeable as to the local area and attractions etc and gave excellent advice in English for our benefit on likely options for visits. We througherly enjoyed our stay and have no hesitation in offering our highest recommendation to others. We hope to return in the near future with our kayak and exploring the river in detail."

"We were warmly welcomed by the owners into a beautifully renovated and spotless apartment, complete with soft towels. We enjoyed a refreshing swim in the pool, followed by a lovely dinner shared with the other guests in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Be sure not to miss a meal prepared by Pascal—he’s an outstanding chef, and his lovely to eat in the garden.. Breakfast the next morning was just as delightful, and we slept wonderfully in the peaceful, quiet setting surrounded by a lush garden and a sky full of stars. Our only regret was Not staying longer to enjoy the house and the area which is rich to be explored! We will be back :)"

"The location was perfect for us to explore the region. We stayed in the Gite, it was very comfortable with everything that we needed for our stay. We had exceptional dinners with the other guests and our hosts most evenings. Sylvie and Pascal were very knowledgeable and attentive."
