"Communication with the host after making the booking was prompt, courteous and informative. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and shown around the premises. The house is located in extensive, well-maintained gardens in a very peaceful location. Our room was very spacious and tastefully decorated. The bathroom, across the corridor, was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and had a large shower cubicle with a range of high quality toiletries. The breakfast included fresh bread, apple cake, home-made jams, yoghurts, fruit, fruit juices, tea and coffee etc. All very tasty! There was a communal room available for use by guests with kettle, microwave, fridge and a selection of hot drinks. The hosts were very happy to have a chat over breakfast which made us feel very welcome, even though we had only booked a one-night stay. We felt the accommodation was very good value for money."

"Excellent communication, warm welcome, very quiet location, hostess could not be more helpful; Christine allowed us to use her microwave to heat our supermarket bought dinner, and put plates, glasses and cutlery at our disposal, on arrival. In the morning, we had a lovely breakfast, and Christine gave us one uneaten pain au chocolat and home grown plums for our car journey. That was a very kind gesture."

"This is one of the best places we have stayed while visiting Normandy and Bretagne. I wish we could spend 2 nights at this place. Madame Christine is such a wonderful host. The breakfast was delicious. We got a room upgrade. I am so thankful we found this place. Strongly recommend. You need a car as the place is in the middle of the forest."
