"Hahaha the stairs...but how worth it is getting to the top."

"Very spacious apartment in the heart of Chinon. It's a period property, so the stairs are a bit steep, rooms are a bit dark but hey, it is a history and you have got a privilege to step into it. The rooms are huge and you have absolutely everything you need in the apartment to make you feel like at home. The host, Nathalie, is very kind, responsive and helpful; lovely and timely communication via Booking.com. Would recommend this property and stay again without hesitation. Thank you."

"This place had everything we needed. It was in a great location to explore Chinon and the local area. We have never been to any accommodation which has been so well equipped. Nathalie was a wonderful host and gave a very warm welcome and great recommendations on days out and restaurants. We would definitely stay again."

"Brilliant location, so walking to all parts ofChinon was easy. Having a parking permit included was great. Lovely 13th century apartment, although with a shared loo and bathroom between the two bedrooms. Steep and quite awkward steps to get up to the apartment, which might be a problem for some. Kitchen good, with lots of tea and coffee making equipment, plus oven and hob. Lovely living room, and amazing main bedroom. Wi-Fi worked well."

"Nothing, but worth noting that the parking on a permit will tend to be a walk away - although you can stop directly outside to load and unload. The two floors of steep stairs might be difficult for some, although we three in our 70’s coped ok."

"The apartment is very attractive and atmospheric. It's clean and comfortable with the hosts giving great attention to detail to ensure our stay was relaxed and comfortable . Great Central location too."

"Lovely medieval property with plenty of space and comfortable bed. Lots of windows to allow good airflow and even though it is near the centre of town, we didnt find it noisy. Parking was easy close by and free with residents ticket."
