"The host was very welcoming. The room was big and very "French". I liked the combination of old and new. We had a bathroom to ourselves, with a big bath. The big bed was super comfortable and big. We also had good pillows, which is rare! The room and bathroom were very clean, and the towels didn't smell (trust me, that happens more than you'd hope)."

"Because it's an old building, it's quite noisy. All the stairs creak. Luckily we only had one night, and left quite early, so it didn't bother us too much. We also had unfortunate timing, there were a lot of loud, drunk people in the streets. The building could use some double windows to block some of the noise out if this is something that happens frequently."

"La Maison d'Adele really is an exceptional place to stay, furnished and decorated with some beautiful and highly individual artwork. We really appreciated being able to park our motorcycle at the rear of the house. The many delicious items provided by Pascale for breakfast really set us up for our journey the next day."
