"Extraordinary nice, old, traditional building filled with antiques. Surrounded by a park at the outskirts of a beautiful village. Very pleasant 3-course dinner, traditional and good French cuisine. Very spacious and well-equipped room. Stylish old bathroom, still very well functioning. Friendly service. Good relation price/quality. Also well heated on a cold and wet evening in late October."

"The property is stunning and has an amazing history as I was told by the owner. I had the pool for myself, the garden is amazing and the entire atmosphere of the place set you back to medieval times. A must for lovers of historic building and the history of the Order of Malta!"

"Amazing building run by a lovely hostess. In beautiful gardens with a pool. The hamlet is also highly interesting. Right on the river. Good food. It’s abit quirky so if you can’t cope with a few cobwebs or abit of clutter it’s probably not for you but we had a very enjoyable stay."

"We ate both breakfast and supper here. The meals were delicious and lovingly presented. We stayed here to absorb the Templar history. We loved it. Our arrival coincided with the opening of the access road following the historic flooding in the area. We were warm and dry and cosy."

Exceptional staff, namely Mme Roux who restored this incredible, historic building and has been running the establishment for about 3 decades. So friendly and attentive. "Breakfast was excellent. A Generous basket of lovely bits and pieces sufficient for lunch too! It was a great touch having the fridge and microwave/kettle etc. Perfect mixture of self catering and hotel services Plenty of storage for clothes for 2 of us. "extremely calm, very relaxing and a great getaway with luscious green surroundings. They also have drinks which can be bought on the property. The breakfast was lovely, with croissants, jams, plain homemade yogurts and crunchy bread. Definitely worth the visit if you’re looking for a mini break to get away and unwind."
