"An absolute gem after a day of travelling. Extremely clean and modern set against the backdrop of a beautiful medieval town. If we didn't have to travel on, we would definitely have stayed longer. The host was very friendly with perfect English so was able to explain how the fire, internet and Chromecast worked."

"The steps to the bedroom are very steep, so be aware of that if you have reduced mobility. A few more pots and pans for cooking would be nice for people who enjoy self catering"

"The location is right high above the scenic point on the river running on the side of the village. It is not at the village centre, but it has its own charm and easy access to the village centre. There was space to park the car in front of the property. The gîte was well heated, despite the cold December weather. Kitchen well equipped."

"Location is perfect in the little town overlooking the river, across from the old Priory. Excellent appointments and comfortable. Lovely private deck at the back. Good parking."

"A perfect little cottage in a beautiful location. The owner was friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable, the facilities were great and everything was spotless - not to mention a lovely terrace with the sound of rushing water. We will be back!"

"The location was brilliant for us, just a very short walk up into the medieval town, and the accommodation was immaculate and very comfortable. The fire in the lounge was a very welcome for the chilly evenings, and the house was kitchen/ bathroom and was well equipped. The host was extremely helpful and met us on arrival to explain everything we needed to know. The outside terrace was a fabulous sun trap and had beautiful views down over the river. We would recommend eating at Papa Wills up in the old town, and there were various places for drinks in the afternoon and coffees in the morning throughout the medieval town. Thank you for a fabulous stay, and I wouldn't think twice about recommending this little gem!"

"From the warm and personal welcome by our hostess to the beautifully appointed accommodation provided by La Petite this offering was perfect for us. We loved its location in the medieval town of St Benoit du Sault; we loved its balcony overlooking the river; and we loved its cosy lounge, well equipped kitchen, good, hot shower and comfortable bed. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to break the journey south on the A20 or looking to spend some time around the Centre-Val de Loire region."
