"The house is full of surprises. We booked a room because we needed an overnight stop on the Loire. We actually had both bedroom and sitting room in a house with a collection of antiques and collectables. The friendly owner has adjoining properties; we were in a room facing the village street. Breakfast was excellent. Only slight downside is lack of onsite parking, but overnight we were able to park quite close. Good location on the north bank of the Loire, with access to the south via the bridge at Montsoreau."

"If we were staying for longer, some outside space would have been appreciated, but the river is almost on the doorstep. At the moment, there is a “Deviation “, which needs to be followed as work going on in the town."

"Nothing really! apart from the soil in seagrass carpet which for me (and I highlight 'for me') had an unpleasant smell if the room is not well aerated. This hasn't been an issue for other guests I met there."

"The accomodation was so charming with gorgeous eclectic decor! Sébastien was a communicative and helpful host. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and served with attention to details! We also enjoyed the location with lots to see and do in the close vicinity. The river behind the property is so peaceful and relaxing. Wish we could have stayed longer!"
