"Stayed here one night on a trip to Chablis and I was very happy with my choice, it definitely had the tranquility, genuine French village experience and the wow factor I was looking for. The view from the room through the huge picture window is spectacular - just wonderful to sit in a chair sipping a glass of Chablis and enjoying that amazing view of the field with grazing cows. There is one restaurant in town a short walk away and I had a very pleasant dinner there. It was very quiet at night and the bed was comfortable."

"The breakfast although adequate was quite basic - a few more items like some cold meats and some more of the wonderful French cheeses would have enhanced it. Replacing the shower with a freestanding bathtub would definitely add to the wow factor of the room, although this is just my opinion. The door from the room to the main building was not very soundproof allowing the sound of voices to be clearly heard, although this was really not an issue for me as it was mostly very quiet. The beautiful sun room at the entrance is begging for restoration as it is a wonderful feature. None of which really detracted from the overall experience, merely suggestions for improvement - it was still a memorable stay and I would definitely recommend staying here for a genuine French village experience, conveniently close to Chablis town."

"We were given a very warm welcome by Edward whom we liked immediately. He was an easy, relaxed host with time to chat but also able to leave us to make ourselves at home and to enjoy the peace of the countryside. The breakfast was great - left outside our door in the morning for us to enjoy at our leisure."
