Château de Challanges is a renovated 19th century country house set in 7 hectares of forest. It offers an outdoor swimming pool, just 2 minutes from the A6 leading to the south of France. The guest rooms and suites at Château de Challanges are elegant in style and offer high ceilings. Some have a private balcony and some are decorated in an original style according to their historical name. Breakfast is served in the bright breakfast room or on the terrace overlooking the grounds. Guests may have a drink in the bar. Additional facilities include bicycle rental and Beaune is a 15-minute ride away. The chateau also has a conference room with a stucco ceiling, free Wi-Fi access and private parking on site.

"Returning to Chateau de Challanges is always a pleasure. Welcoming, comfortable, warm and cosy. This time our son was over the moon to find the chateau’s giant Teddy waiting on his bed when we arrived. We arrived very late, but there was, as always, a nice bottle of Burgundy chilling in the room."
"It’s a shame the chateau doesn’t serve dinner, however being so close to Beaune town makes up for it."

"A beautifully presented chateau with great staff. The hotel is out of town with plenty of parking at the hotel, ideal if your car is full overnight."
"It’s quite far from town, which is an advantage when it comes to security but a little far to walk into Beaune. A taxi cost about €12."

"Booked one of the Rotundas in the garden. Big room and bathroom with doors out to private garden. Very well equipped. Allows dogs. Staff very friendly and helpful. Short drive and easy to find from the motorway. Easy, secure parking. Great!"

"The room was a bit small but the view was lovely and it was comfortable. The shower was great even though the shower room is small! The pool was lovely and outdoor area lovely. We were made to feel very welcome by the owner who was delightful. The chateau is very near the town of Beaune which is beautiful and has great restaurants. It is also perfectly located for the wine region. We really enjoyed our stay."
