Chalet Du Bel Event

"Lovely character, meeting the owners and conversing with them."

"I had trouble as I had limited cash as I was leaving for England. I had tried to send all my Euro money."

"What a find! The owners were so welcoming and an excellent breakfast served in the elegant dining room. The salon complete with grand piano was delightful. The chalet was full of beautiful furniture and paintings by their Mother. We will definitely make a return visit."

"This is a very quiet, charming, historic property with loads of character set in the countryside but a pretty drive to beautiful local towns. Bill and Dan were very helpful with local information and advice. The breakfast was great and it was good to meet other guests over the communal table."

"Due to the age of the property the bathrooms were outdated but still functional and part of the charm."

"Top rate hospitality by Bill and Dan. Nice coffee. Beautiful and relaxing grounds. Table tennis 🏓 😀"

"Lovely rustic Chalet in a great setting. Quiet and a few miles from some lovely towns. The hosts were great and very interesting to chat with. Very french and old so don't expect a hilton ...very homely."

"Nothing really. Internet was a bit slow for the kids but it was a great place for the money."

"We spent 2 nights in this place and we are delighted. Beautiful garden and surroundings, and the building itself is amazing. Delicious breakfasts and the staff very nice and polite 🙂 we could come with our dog which was a great advantage for us. We hope to come back here someday. Thank you and best regards!"

"A secret garden and ancient château surrounded by beautiful trees. We enjoyed the great hospitality of the two brothers (William and Daniel) very much. Breakfast with the „table commune“ and pleasant conversations with the other guests was a great experience. It felt like home. We liked our green room very much and the charming view into the garden. The house is an artist‘s home reminiscent of the past, of the impressionists and full of paintings and decorative furniture. Michael was happy with the piano in the living room. It’s a very friendly place for homy days without superfluous luxury."
