"It was an amazing stay. First came with shuttle bus from center straight to Apukka. Greeted by friendly & helpful staff. Room was so great, clean & comfortable. The activities are good, breakfast is great. Love everything about this place. Even can witness the northern lights from the resort"

"We stayed in the glass igloo, and the double bed was Comfortable although it was NOT a double bed, but rather two single beds pushed together. In addition, the second bed was a sofa bed, not comfortable at all. As it was for the kids, for us not a huge problem. The igloo is beautiful but that’s really all it is. The sauna experience is also a nice experience to make (don’t even need to do the private)."

"Igloo is really small, it doesn’t even fit the luggage. You have only 20 minutes every two hours of hot water (yes you read it right) to take shower. In a 2000 euros or more per night resort. The igloo has heater for the ceiling not to accumulate snow on it but if you do have to use it a lot, the room will be as cold as the outside. You will freeze in there. And not less important, All the tours they offer in the resort cost THE SAME price for you that are hosted IN there and for those who AREN’T. The “Santa’s visit” we booked for our family might be great for small family, for us, with just 2 kids, Santa made may son name WRONG, and despite we had paid exactly the same as everyone else we hade HALF the experience as they said DURING the bust that they arranged it for “the family” and not for each child. If so, we should have paid half. The staff tried to put band-aids on the problem, but without any effective solution. The day we arrived they ran out of water in the resort and they didn’t offer a solution for that. After flying 16 hours we have to take our Mercedes, drive back to the city center and refresh ourselves with drinking water we got in the supermarket."

"The floor heating inside the room was not working for the entire stay. Spoke at reception about this, they said they were sending maintenance to check but no one came. Not the best feeling for a cold place with such high prices."

"We had a wonderful time here. The staff were warm and friendly, and offered immediate assistance with any questions we had. We also participated in three activities: the Aurora Train, the Husky Sled Tour, and the Snowmobile Tour. The instructors were professional, so we thoroughly enjoyed the activities. Despite the cold weather, they thoughtfully provided us with ample clothing, shoes, and gloves to keep us warm. The food was also highly recommended, regardless of the type."

"Apukka is very easily reached from the airport, town center or santa village. we used an uber, they were never more than 7 mins away. the accommodation was very comfy & warm. beware, there are no tellies in the rooms. but the wifi is very good and also - it's so pretty outside, you might just not need it."

"we were warned there was only 20 mins of hot water available at a time. for a group of 4, of which there were 2 teenagers ;), it could have become slightly uncomfortable. but a bit of planning and everyone had hot showers."

"The resort is just great. For a short holiday only recommended. The distance to the airport is perfect. The rooms are simply very cosy and tastefully decorated. Then the glass roof in the igloo was just great. The range of activities is very diverse. Great opportunities to discover the breathtaking nature. The food deserves special mention. The breakfast was really top. The dinner at the restaurant Kota was just fantastic and delicious. All in all, an unforgettable short break."
