"The place is beautiful and the staff friendly and happy to help with all issues. The cabins were ample, well maintained, and very clean. The food was excellent and offered a very good choice of family friendly menu items."
"Access requires a 4x4 vehicle, although the hotel offers a place to park a car at the foot of the hill and can send its own transport to pick you up. The ride will be very bumpy, but I think that the destination is worth it. While this didn't affect me, the place is not wheelchair accessible."
"Wonderful place! Thoughtfully laid out in an area of natural beauty, including waterfalls and rivers. Very comfy rooms. The bed was excellent. Food was great and worth eating on site at their restaurant. The road up to the lodge is best in a 4x4 but not terrible (they can collect you). Staff were very helpful. The toboggan run is fast and thrilling. I have travelled and stayed in many places in the DR. This rates in my top 3."

"Eco lodge platon is a short 20 minute drive from Paraiso beach. the lodge sits on the side of the river surrounded by lush forest and cacao farms. perfect place to escape from the heat of the beach and discover the mountains."

The cabins need a little more maintenance for the price they are charging (the ac kept turning off every 60 minutes all evening long and they decided to hammer in a broken balcony beam in the first floor while we weee on the room, without asking first)."

"The location was beautiful and the individual units very comfortable. The many lagoons and waterfalls on the property were spectacular. Going tubing on the river was lots of fun. The food was good. The wait staff was outstanding."
"The amenities we were interested in, such as the spa and horseback riding weren't available. We also were greeted by a very unfriendly receptionist. As a first impression of your hotel she was awful."
