"As it's an old building there are a few things that can go wrong. The system for entering and leaving late at night is a little cumbersome. The person who put the poorly executed clown paintings each side of the saint on 4th floor needs shooting! 😏"

"There was a warm welcome on arrival. The staff were friendly and very helpful. For example, we needed to exchange some old currency notes that were no longer legal tender, and the bank staff directed us to the bank where this needed to be done. The hotel has beautiful decor. Our room was spacious. Breakfast had the typical continental breakfast items, plus scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, grilled vegetables. Hotel was located very close to one of the major Christmas markets, the latter being one of our main reasons for visiting Brno. We were able to temporarily park our car close to the hotel to load our luggage."

"There was some street noise, but this was not the fault of the hotel or staff. The tub (which has the shower) is a soaker tub and has a high lip. This did not present any problems for us, but evidently it does for some people as it appears that some people have used the towel rack as a grab bar."

"The interior is superior. Paintings, statues, room design, atmosphere. The breakfast was varying and pretty good. Not exceptional, but it's a relatively small hotel, so one can't expect everything in the buffet :-) The location is very central, next door to a market square (markets on Saturdays) and a shopping mall with a cinema."

"The WiFi was very slow and at times unstable. The bathroom was clean but not shining - showed some aging. The location for electrical outlets in the room wasn't practical (sitting at the desk with a laptop, there's hardly a socket I could use)."
