"Our stay at Steigenberger was very pleasant, the same day we started with a spa treatment - the Pharaoh bath, we got a special deal two for one. We had 3 massage therapists who took care of us💆‍♀️Higly recommending it! But let's get back to the beginning, we got welcomed by Ahmed, who gave us a beautiful room with a balcony facing the Nile. For many a dream come true.. You will be welcomed wih a refreshing cold hibiscus tea. The breakfast buffet there has a huge selection and in the evening you can also have a dinner buffet with a view to the Nile if you sit outside. There are two pools, gym, some stores with souvenirs around the hotel and even a swing to take a beautiful sunset picture with a view to the Nile. Thank you Ahmed for your assistance, we felt very welcome thanks to you. 💯☺️"

The surrounding area is poor, but don't be scared, the locals are welcoming and kind. Sometimes you have to be patient so order your breakfast early if you have an adventure day planned.

We booked our hiking tour to Petra thru Dana Village Lodge , Ramzi and Hamza take care of everything and organise your entire holiday for you. "Na prvom mestu gostoprimstvo. Domačica Vesna i njen otac. Sve pohvale za njih kao ljude i kao ugostitelje. Takodje smestaj je odlican. Pogled na planine, terasica je fenomenalna za uzivanje uz jutarnju kafu. Kuhinja je odlična i ima sve sto je potrebno cak i za vece spremanje. Letnjikovac je predivan, pogotovu u zimskom periodu gde možete da uživate pored kamina uz cašu vina 🥰"

"All new and well planned. Top quality shower unit and ceiling fan. Spotlessly clean. Good air-conditioning. Everything has been thought of by the host: iron and board; kettle, cups, bowls, plates, coffee, sugar, creamer; towel rack and prayer mat; hangers in the wardrobe. The shower is marvellous: various shower heads and taps; good shower gel, shampoo and toothpaste provided, shelves for bottles and a rack for hanging towels etc. The basin and mirror are good for shaving."

There was a smell from the drain, but this can be reduced leaving the bathroom fan on. The call to prayer is very close by. The window coverings are pretty, but it would be nice to look out of the front window. The blinds should be enough.
