"The rooms (we booked 2) were beautiful, very clean. The location is great, 10-15 minute’s drive for supermarket, and 20-30 drive for tourism spots and known trails in the Golan. The stuff is very available and we they assisted us with all requests."

Ils ont un restaurant avec du choix à la carte, ce qui est un point fort puisqu’on est dans un tout petit village où il n’y a pas grand chose Attention, le village de Kong Lor est très éloigné de Na Hin. Notre auberge nous avait dit qu’on ne mettrait que 40 minutes à rejoindre l’auberge. On a mis 1h30, ne vous faites pas surprendre par la nuit qui tombe. C’est dangereux entre les nids-de-poule et les vaches en plein milieu de la route"

When making the booking for 2 or 3 bedroom, booking.com must state that the other room in the mansion are also simulataneously for rent with strangers. This can be an unexpected suprise for those who wants to spend family time specially since the kitchen and living room are to be shared.

The location was at the foot of the hill, which was a bit disappointing. The uphill walk did not get me much higher and I could not progress further along that path.

"This is not a standard hotel or gite or whatever, this is a special place. Expect no luxury here, this is not what Karims guesthouse is about. It is about being in a small village and in nature. Basically, this is as close to a home stay as you can book on Booking. You can choose a room or the stilted house (recommended) in a garden full of interesting plants. Your water comes from a well or the river, your coffee directly from the bushes around you, and the food from...actually I don't know where, but it is amazing. One of the Kpime waterfalls is just a short, but nice walk away, and you can roam the village or take a long walk to Yikpa waterfall (~4 h one way). And when you come back, you lay in a hammock with a fresh and local cocoa or sit in the garden. And the best, you don't need to be in Kpalime, with all the chaos, noise, and smells. Although it is something different, I really enjoyed my stay. Karim is a fantastic host and La montagne verde exactly my type of stay."

Just be aware what you are booking, and there is nothing negative about it.

I would highly recommend staying here and going on tour with Hamza and Camel and all the locals there. They are such amazing, generous, and thoughtful people"

"The view from restaurant is awsome, not many places in the world like this. Maria took care of us with love. Breakfast excellent, local fruits, tea and coffee, omelette. Excellent grilled tuna or other fish for lunch or dinner. Cottage was clean, with a view on ocean. We were almost alone there. It is possible to pay by eur or dobra. Maria also arranged tacxi for the airport."

"Great welcome, the owner Pao was very attentive to my needs, brought me to breakfast in town every morning, his wife cooking me food for lunch and/or supper. I was by myself but didn’t feel alone having the family around, and Pao included me in his evenings with his friends. I had my own room with mattress on the ground firm but I find comfortable with a mosquito net. Shared bathroom but very clean toilet. Shower with the bucket with cold water - but invigorating and makes the experience authentic ! Nice setting with greenery. Hammocks to relax."

No WiFi available unfortunately, but I had my own SIM card with lots of gigabytes so it didn’t bother me to use my 5G. Roosters singing in the evening or early in the morning - but you get used to it / or put earplugs and it’s fine! Again it makes you feel in the countryside so it’s part of the experience!
