"Really cute place! Very cosy and homely feel.. the man who runs the hostel, Victor, is absolutely lovely. Always making sure that you are okay and comfortable and checking in. He asked us what tours we are doing so he can provide snacks - very kind! The breakfast was great too!"
"It is a bit hot even with fans, but as is everywhere in San Pedro so you can’t complain. It cools down a lot at night so you can open the windows/door for a bit and get a nice breeze through."

"We spent three nights at Illari Hostal in San Pedro de Atacama and had a really great experience. The host was extremely kind, helpful, and spoke good English. The room was small and simple but very clean (it was cleaned daily) and had everything we needed, with an exceptionally comfortable bed. Despite the cold nights, the heater kept the room pleasantly warm. The shower required a short wait, but then there was plenty of hot water, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The hostal is about a 10-minute walk from the center, in a quiet and safe neighborhood, right next to an authentic local restaurant where we had delicious dinners at half the price of the touristy places. We didn’t try the breakfast since we left early every morning, but the host thoughtfully prepared some snacks for us. Overall, it’s a simple but excellent accommodation, highly recommended."

"Very comfortable room, good breakfast and decent location. The owner, Victor, is incredibly friendly and helpful! He speaks English too, which was helpful for us. We were given a breakfast to go for our trip to Bolivia. He also offered us a heater for the cold nights, but we were okay without one. The WiFi was good too. Overall great value for money, and I would definitely stay here again!"
"The shower was a bit tricky to use, often I had either boiling hot or very cold water. It’s a bit of a walk into the town, but this didn’t bother us, just something to keep in mind!"
