"The location is beautiful, tucked in a high valley surrounded by mountains with a view from the small balcony. Close the station and easy walking distance from the pretty village. Ample parking (5 chf) and a small but pleasant spa. The style was classic and I enjoyed not having a TV in the room. The breakfast was exceptional and the staff very friendly."

"The en-suite bathroom was a green glass box added to the room, so at night with the light on you could see all the shadows from inside, and hear everything. Also more electric sockets would be very useful, I use a cpap machine and it was tricky to use that and charge a phone. Bring a splitter adaptor. The mattress could have been comfier, it was very soft."

"The style, heritage, super swiss.. the view, the breakfast, staff such a pleasant stay. Didnt get to enjoy the Spa and outdoor heated pool, was a short stay, but it looked so great so would have enjoyed that for sure."

"So many beautiful original features, from the stunning entrance hall and dining rooms to the old-school lift. Worth spending a couple of nights here to make the most of the hotel’s surroundings and the connected spa (one two-hour session per person included in the price of the room). The restaurant is very good but pricey. It’s worth doing one dinner there but there is also a much cheaper Italian restaurant at Piz Ela a minute’s walk away."

"I left some laundry at the reception but when I came to pick it up the next day before our departure it hadn’t been done. To be fair to the hotel, they don’t advertise a laundry service but being given the same bag of dirty laundry back 24 hours later was pretty frustrating."

"Beautifully restored, charming ‘Kur’ hotel. Lovely big rooms with balcony overlooking the garden and village. Unfortunately, I suppose due to the age of the property, there was no ensuite (wc, shower) in the very charming room. Facilities were down the hall. We were invited to use the spa facilities which looked beautiful but unfortunately, we didn’t have time. We did have a very delicious dinner at the hotel and breakfast was great too. A special thanks to the excellent waiting staff. Bergün is a lovely location."
