"The rooms had the appropriate furniture. Staff was friendly, and quick to fix the light that was burnt out."
"Room didn’t seem clean, there was lots of drywall dust and there was an old used teabag on the bathroom floor. There were many extension cords and power bars throughout the room. The bathtub faucet leaked and there were many rust stains in the tub"

"We were very pleased to see NO CARPET! Bathroom was clean and shower had decent pressure. Bed was comfy. Not too noisy even though our room was next to the entrance. Overall, our expectations for a cheap motel were exceeded."
"We were charged an extra fee for our dog... not the end of the world, but I didn't remember seeing it on the booking description. The location was an easy drive to beaches/amenities, but just a bit of a far walk to downtown."

"I had to get a broom to sweep up the cigarette butts that were on the ground outside of our room. The room itself is fine but it could use a more thorough cleaning just some dust and cobwebs. Last year it was a family looking after the motel, this year it seems there was a just some young men looking after everything."

"There needs to be some basic repairs made to ceilings, and lampshades could use a refresh...Maybe remove the carpets? The most serious flaw is the state of the grounds - there was garbage strewn around at the end of the building near the (now-closed/inoperable) swimming pool. Some weeding of the flower beds and a few hanging baskets would really help."
