"Room lovely, very clean and comfortable. Probably the most comfortable we stayed at. Perfect location."

"Breakfast not so good. On arrival told they had just made choc chip muffins, didn't get one! Breakfast a cold, very small croissant, small pot of yogurt, satsuma, hard boiled egg and pot of coffee. Odd combination even for a continental breakfast. All delivered in a box to outside the room. No interaction with host or other guest. Due to other places being closed due to being later in the season, would have liked a better experience."

"Breakfast was delightful. Everything about our stay was lovely. Unfortunately, with the weather being unusually hot, the rooms were uncomfortable. Staff brought over an extra fan to move some air around."

"Location, fresh and bright...super clean. King bed super comfortable with beautiful bedding. Best nights rest. Morning breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend for exploring Bonavista...close to great restaurants, shops and harbour. Laurie the host, helpful with recommendations for great meals."

"Loved the location. The breakfast was excellent!! Staff was excellent. We would have rated the facilities a 10 except for the poor noise insulation between floors."

"We stayed in Gosling House on the first floor. We could hear the conversations and footsteps of the people on the top floor. Sound proofing between floors would have made our stay perfect. We used CC on the TV so the upstairs renters were not bothered but would have preferred not to do that."

"Location was great - walking distance to restaurants, waterfront, shops, etc... Easy & friendly check-in. Beautiful cottage, decor and comfortable bed. Breakfast items, coffee and tea provided were also wonderful. We wish we could have stayed longer."

"Our only problem was with the folks who were staying in the suite above us. Unsure if they were aware that there were people staying below them, but they were up early (630am) stomping around, speaking loudly, passing our door multiple times with no consideration for their surroundings, until we got frustrated enough and came out to ask them to keep it down."

"Room was perfect as was breakfast. Delivered quietly to our room and picked up just as quiet. Room was clean and comfortable. Private bathroom always a plus. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating when we met them. Ellison nearby was amazing so we could see the Puffins close up"

"I would just warn anyone who is a light sleeper that the Lawrence suite is underneath an adjacent loft suite, and the noise of people walking overheard is very loud. Not the a fault of the property, just something to be aware of!"
