Auberge Sauvignon

"Fabulous location close to the ski hill and the village shuttle. Walking distance to the xc ski trail. This is a very well managed inn which is great value for money! They offer an informal continental breakfast which is not advertised in the listing. Staff are very helpful and responsive. There is a huge parking lot which is well maintained."

"I can see there being problems with guests at certain times of year like reading week because staff do not stay onsite at night. The first night I was there neighbours were rowdy. Ideally there could be boot trays, small bar fridges, and a folding tray table in each room. Because not all rooms have bar fridges, some guest (?) had packed the kitchen bar fridge full of leftover take out food and packages of sliced vegetables etc. These items may have been abandoned since there were there all week. That fridge is meant for the Inn's supplies. The Inn does have a shuttle, but it leaves at 8:30am (when it is available) even though the lifts ooen at 8:30am, so I will probably just drive every day next time."

"There was a jacuzzi, which was nice. Rooms arent huge but have everything you need and beautiful view! Facilities (including jacuzzi) were beyond expectations! The only single flaw was that the towels provided had a slight mildewy smell from humidity and lack of air drying. But considering the humidity in the area, that may have been unavoidable! Other than amazing facilities, the staff were also really helpful whenever we needed any support. And despite a mild smell, the towels as well as everything else were very clean! Location is good because its only a 20 minute walk to the village, and there is a free bus- albeit not a very reliable one."

"The beds were incredibly comfortable and cozy. Little pre-ski breakfast was fun and the outdoor hot tub was lovely. The rooms are small but the kitchen area has lots of seating and upstairs there is a large living room to chill out in with big windows, couches and a TV if you're into that. It's also incredibly close to the ski base (3 minute drive) and they provide a shuttle to get there and back if you need."

"Hard to manage your gear in a tiny room with no storage. I didn't notice anywhere to store things outside of our room but maybe i missed it."

"I'm so happy to have discovered this little rustic inn three years ago! The staff are wonderful, the rooms are clean, there is a huge parking lot, and they even supply a continental breakfast. Their shuttle to and from the mountain is awesome. Their rates are also very low compared with staying on the hill. If I ever travel with family, I would consider renting one of their modern chalets. The inn is ideal for a solo traveller or couple focussed on skiing or cycling."
