"We loved the apartment itself, the beautiful garden, the lovely veranda - it had everything we could possibly need for a week stay. The location being just a few hundred yards from the supermarket, the beach and all the bars and restaurants was ideal for us. Complimentary membership of The Beach Club was an unexpected bonus!"

"The apartment is super clean and fully equipped. There is plentiful bed-linen, towels, hot water, excellent A/C in the bedroom and a fan cooler in the sitting-room/kitchen. All the windows have mosquito netting on the outside which allows you to open the louvre windows and take advantage of the breeze. The garden is stunning and the veranda is a great place to take breakfast in the early sun. We enjoyed the use of the pass into the beach-side Sunset Crest Beach Club, a five minute walk away, with its great pool and plentiful beach loungers. The owners, Lisbeth and Patrick, are proactive in sharing their love of Barbados both through providing maps and literature within the apartment and by generously giving of their time in conversations and site-seeing. You would go a long way to find more caring and considerate ‘hosts’."

"We disliked nothing. I should mention that this apartment would not be suitable for a wheelchair user. There are steps up to its entry level and the shower requires stepping over a one brick high little barrier. The owners have thoughtfully provided grab-rails and a non-slip floor mat within the shower. Some folks might not like the early morning wake up noise of the monkeys taking breakfast and playing on the roof , it made us smile!"

"Villa 46 was perfect for us. It was very clean and well presented with great facilities. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and even brought us some lovely homemade lentil soup. The location is perfect for walking and running around Sandy Lane golf course. The beach and beach club are close by and having Massy’s supermarket on your doorstep is super convenient. The garden is beautiful and had monkeys passing through our outdoor deck. The bus stops are close by. I would recommend this for couples."

"Very easy walking distance to beaches - you could snorkel from the beach and the reefs were teeming with fish - restaurants, bars, supermarket, ATMs, shopping and transport links (buses and taxis). Private garden with lots of visiting birds and occasional monkeys. Although the beaches are wonderfully clean and sandy, some stones and broken coral are at the edge of the sea so we recommend beach shoes to enter the water."

"Nothing - Barbados is beautiful, a delight to visit. Bajans are friendly and personable and the hosts, Lisbeth and Patrick, are the best - knowledgeable and attentive enough that you felt you could ask anything but equally happy to leave you to enjoy your holiday."

"We Loved our stay in Holetown at Villa46. Clean and comfortable, in a brilliant location; close to the supermarket, restaurants, a lovely quiet beach, and regular bus routes to Bridgetown or Speighstown. The garden is beautiful. We were visited by monkeys and several different birds. Recommend Tides for a nice meal, Calma Beach Bar for relaxed dining and drinks and One Love for drinks with the locals. Lisbeth and Patrick are really lovely and attentive hosts. They even gifted us some lovely flowers and a card as we were celebrating our second wedding anniversary. We also enjoyed saying hello to the family pets. Patrick collected us from the airport and stopped at the supermarket for groceries. We would definitely recommend staying here and would not hesitate to book here again if back in the area."

"Villa 46 is a charming cottage, on the hosts' property, but with a private entrance and private tropical garden -- and just a five minute walk to the beach and and a lovely beach club to which we had access. There is a well equipped kitchen, and an excellent supermarket a short walk away -- as well as many shops and bars and restaurants, including the Tides and Paul Owens at the Beach House -- two of Barbados' best restaurants. The hosts Lizbeth and Patrick are wonderful -- very helpful and friendly."

"One bed apartment surrounded by flora and fauna in an ideal location for anybody looking to stay in and around Holetown, Sandy Lane, St.James. Good value for money, a real home from home and looked after by a fabulous couple who live next to the apartment. Bedding, towels, beach chairs all provided along with use of the Sunset Crest communal pool. Close to public transport routes, beaches, a variety of restaurants and shops including a large supermarket and petrol station. Could not have wished for a more ideal holiday let. Communication with the owners before, during and after the let was top class. If birdsong morning, noon and night is your thing, you will be delighted. When strolling around the town, it was fantastic to see so many people just saying hello. Everybody is relaxed and friendly and happy to help however they can."

"Use of security padlocks on the access gate and an internal security gate. Not sure whether this is just an insurance thing as it absolutely did not seem or feel like the kind of location that needed these additional security measures."
