"I just wanted to say that the location of the hotel was excellent. We were also pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a room with breakfast included, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Everything was perfect, and we truly appreciated the wonderful service and hospitality."
"I would also like to mention one issue we experienced during our stay. When we arrived, a deposit was taken from my credit card. I did not realize that the amount would actually be charged to my account rather than just held as a temporary authorization. Because of that, the money was taken from my account for about a month. In addition, a charge from the pool bar that belonged to a different room (friends of ours) was mistakenly billed to my card. Due to exchange rate differences, I was charged almost double the original amount. The drink cost about $25, but I ended up being charged around $50, and when the refund was processed about a month later, I received less because of the currency exchange differences. So in the end, I lost money on the transaction and had funds unnecessarily held from my account for about a month. Aside from this issue, we truly enjoyed the hotel, the excellent location, the room upgrade with breakfast, and the great service. I just wanted to share this feedback so that future situations like this can hopefully be avoided."
